Hello AUC Alums,

 

As your newly minted President of the Alumni Association of Atlantic Union College for 2014-2016,  I want to introduce myself to all of you, and invite you to come for shortcake and/or potluck in the next few weeks. Let's get together as alumni/ae at  SNEC 2014 Camp Meeting.

 

AUC Alumni at the SNEC Camp Meeting Events:

1.  AUC Alums Strawberry Shortcake Festival - 4-7p Sabbath, June 21, 2014 at tent site A-52.

First, we will be serving strawberry shortcake desserts to all 'Alums' from 4-7pm on the first Sabbath, June 21, at tent A-52, very near the rostrum end of Main Pavilion, on the main entry road (not far from Bailey Hall). Please come and have some shortcake, or use the tent as a meeting place on any of the evenings around those same hours during the entire week.

 

2.  AUC Alums Potluck - 1-3p, Sabbath, June 28, 2014, AUC Chan Shun Banquet Hall.

On the second Sabbath of camp meeting, we will be meeting at the banquet area at the back of the Chan Shun Dining Commons right after the Midday Service from 1-3pm for an old fashioned potluck lunch. Some drinks & green salads will be provided, along with plates etc.

Please come, bring a 'pot' of food and let's talk about what we can do together to help our college.

 

One item that will be discussed is the new, up and running N.E.T.S. program, and how we as Alumni/ae can promote this, and other certificate programs in the works, as "AUC Ambassadors". Other volunteer projects in fund raising, recruitment and campus maintenance are also on the horizon.Join me, the  officers, along with the executive committee, in our prayers and efforts to revitalize our beleaguered college as it enters into a new and hopeful phase.
